Default It's a shame...

Been using protools for many years now. Now I have the Situation, that pt don't work on my Systems anymore. I have an iMac, a Intel Quad-Core PC using either Mac os 10.7.3 or Windows 7 / 32 Bit.

I have dropouts, Crashes and defective Sessions. I still use pt 8 mp, because the upgrades to 9 or 10 are Way too expensive!

Logic and cubase work like a charm on the Same Systems! It seems, that pt is very picky when ist comes to Hdd Speeds and latencies. The problems mainly occur, when pt accesses the Hdd, opening or saving, loading Instrument-patches!

I did all optimization regarding to a daw that I know of, with no luck! Even made clean Installs of macos and Windows 7.
