Default Support Ticket Improperly Closed, Can't Update

I had a support ticket that was closed improperly and now I can't update it or get it re-opened. Its not fair that I'd have to buy another ASC because of this.

What happened was I needed to scan and send in my purchase receipt, and I told the support agent it would be a little bit before I could send it in but was told to take my time and would be OK. Admittedly it was a long while before I could send it in, but when I did my ticket had been auto-closed and now I can't update it!
