Default How to Revert to 6.9 from PT 7

digi,

i installed PT 7 but not all my plug-ins work and i cannot open old sessions (or afford the upgrade price). how can i revert to PT 6.9?

i tried installing 6.4 again and going through the upgrades but it didn't work. please help! thanks.

Did do a "Full" uninstall setting from the PT7 disc? If you didn't then parts of PT7 are still there and would reek havoc on a reinstall of prior versions. I would also do a search for DAE, Digi, Digidesign, and protools named files. All these files must be deleted for you to go back.

i bought it on the web, so i don't have a PT 7 disc. i'll see if there is an uninstall though. i'm hesistant to just delete everything with those names though. thanks.
