Space missing surround options?

hi all- trying to use Space with surround.

it's just showing the usual mono + stereo variants.

i know back in the day (when it was TL Space), there were various quad + 5.0 varieties....

and i know it's supposed to be surround-compatible now....

12.5 HD Native, OS X Yosemite, latest version of Space 12.0.whatever installer straight from the download page....

any ideas?

Mono Aux give Mono-to Stereo, Quad and 5.0 here with PT's HD12.5
Make sure you have I/O settings outputs available.
I tried both Native and DSP with the same expected results.

yeah- i have my routing all set (i think so, anyway....).

other verbs (Waves) are showing the mono/5.0 or mono/5.1 varieties.

signal gets to my 5.1 bus and/or any of the relevant subpaths just fine.

i'm admittedly not the most experienced surround mixer, so it's possible i'm overlooking something, but as far as i can tell, it's only Space that's not working as it should.

any suggestions? much appreciate your time-

Are all the Space impulses installed? I'm missing a heap of them too. It seems that you have to manually install most of the impulses. (Hoping I'm wrong, because it's tedious process).

i'm not missing impulses (well, i'm sure i'm missing some) but it's that i'm not even seeing the "Mono/5.0" or "Mono/Quad" versions of the plugin.

Seeing a similar issue here, so logged http://protools.ideascale.com/a/dtd/238739-3779 and will try to regress to see if other versions are affected.

i unfortunately don't have older versions of either quickly available to test right now.

I have PTHD 12.5 and Space 12.1 on Mavericks and I have mono, stereo, quad and 5.0 options as expected.

Top Jimmy, I wonder, is it a Space 12.0 only issue .... Remember that 12.0 is for use with perpetual licenses and 12.1 is for use with support plan licenses.

I was assured by Jeffro ages back that there were not two different development paths, and that the 12.1 version was functionally identical to 12.0, only difference being the license required to unlock it.

Hope that remains true, for those of us with perpetual licenses not wishing to use support plan dependent plugins.

Can't say where the fault is, but Space 12.0 works properly up through PT 12.2.1 so it's looking more like a PT issue. http://protools.ideascale.com/a/dtd/238739-3779
