Default Frequency noise – need help

Here’s a tough one. I’ve got some old wave files that were captured from digital tape. That audio on that tape was 2nd generation as well and has that high pitched metallic noise going on that happens when there are frequency miss matches…

Any one have any suggestions as to how I can deal with this???
