Selecting range of clips

Is there any way to select all the clips from range between any 2? I couldn't figure out any modifiers or select a field with mouse and it drives me crazy when I want to eg. select clips from tracks 15-24 and I need to shift+click every single one of them.

Would a marquee/lasso select work? With Smart Tool or Selector tool (text insert icon) from a gray area click and drag across the clips in tracks 15 thru 24

Or you can group the tracks, start at the left clip on track 15 and then go to the right most clip on track 24 and everything between and on all the selected tracks will be selected

lasso works only with clips selected in whole so when going left to right it's impossible to fully select the ones beginning with session start. And only fully selected clips are able to move. Grouping tracks doesn't make any sense as it's usually one time job. In many DAWs shift+click selects bunch of tracks between clicked ones, in PT it selects particular tracks. I thought maybe there's some other combination to do that thing

Are we talking TRACKS or Clips?

If tracks, select the first track, then SHIFT select the last contiguous track and all tracks in between will be selected.

Link track and edit selection, select a time range and a track range? I am not entirely able to visualize what you are trying to accomplish, but if you link track and edit selection, then highlight all the tracks you want, it will highlight all those tracks in the time range you have selected.
