mcdsp mc2000 vs ml4000
hey everyone,
mcdsp's having a 50% off sale for a few more days, and i'm wondering: i have the ml4000 multiband limiter, which i love. I'm toying with picking up the mc2000 multiband comp, but wonder whether it would be redundant to the ml4000. any thoughts? ~peter in istanbul

Re: mcdsp mc2000 vs ml4000
I guess you can always use another DSP multiband.

Re: mcdsp mc2000 vs ml4000
I have the same question.
Does anyone else have both and find them very different? I have the MC 2000 and imagine if i use it with a limiter i'll be in the same ballpark. |

Re: mcdsp mc2000 vs ml4000
Don't forget that the ML4000 is actually a multi-band compressor, with a broadband limiter strapped across the summed output.
You can use it fundamentally as a version of the MC2000, but it's a bit of a fiddly workaround - the MC2000 seems to be a more practical solution for it's intended application. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
