Audio sync issues
Doing some of my first video work - and I'm struggling - but not whre I expected!
I'm doing a promo music video of a live performance. I did a rough mix and sent a bounce to the video guy for him to do his editing. I now have the finished video back - and want to tidy up the audio mix. I've imported the video into protools 2018 - along with the audio from the video. If I then import the bounce I sent him - the audio from the video - and the bounced audio sync perfectly. However when do a session import and import the session I used to create the bounce - my `live` mix drifts against my bounce. So it seems like something I'd doing wrong in pro tools when importing the session. Any thoughts what to look at? In case it matters I'm using 2018.7, an RME ADI2-PRO and mostly UAD plugins with a thunderbolt satellite. The video has a frame rate of 24fps - and I've set my session to 24fps. Sound is all 48/24. |

Re: Audio sync issues
Reset my output settings - and the session settings - and everything now seems normal.
Sorry to bother everyone (couldn't find a way to delete the post). |
