Drives with PT. 7200 vs 10krpm internal drives with PT. External Fav's?

I'm at a crossroad to put a new internal drive in my G5 tower which runs PT LE. Anyone have any input fav drives and specs for optimum performance (for rtas and processing). Also heard i should get a 10rpm instead of 7200. Does 110k work alot better? Another suggestion was get a faster drive and swap it with my main drive.

Here are a few i've been checking out:
WD caviar blk 1 or 2 tb
Seagate (heard that WD runs better, any suggestions?)

Anyone have any fav external?
Heard the Rocstor FW800 is a great drive.

WD Caviar Black would be my usual first choice(Blue being the second). Can't say I have had any problems with Seagate or Maxtor either, but the BLACK's are built like tanks. 10K drives cost more, make more noise and make more heat for no significant increase in performance. I would sooner use a SSD for the system drive than buy 10K(just one opinion)
