Eleven Rack with a power amp setup

How are you guys pushing the eleven rack typically? (In a live setup)

Just in series in front of a guitar s
Amp? Via the fx loop? Or what kind of setup is most viable

I put the 11R in front of powered speakers (QSC). It works but honestly this is more an experimental system. Live I still either go through my Mesa Boogie Road King II into a Marshall 4x12 Cab or my Paul Reed Smith Combo amp.

For me;

Main out to PA (FOH)...with a touch of foldback

Amp out to mesa boogie onstage.

I use two FX loops, the 11R & the mesa. The only FX on the Mesa loop is re-verb & delay. Using delay on the 11R FX loop in conjunction with delay on the mesa FX loop gives some interesting results.

Either to my powered studio monitors or to the effects return input on my Carvin Bel Air 2x12.

Good - I was thinking about using just the rack out to mains and monitors - instead of an amp - but idk most likely I can get away from the amp

Effects return of my Marshall DSL401 (original not the new one) fed from the front panel amp output of the 11R.

Depending of the gig I'm using one this 4 scenario:
1- XLR out to FOH and monitors (rig output and fx1 peq)
2- XLR out to FOH and Amp 1 out to Carvin 1x12" combo effect return (rig output and fx1 peq)
3- Amp 2 out to Peavey Classic 60/60 tube poweramp and Peavey 4x12" (rig output no cab)
4- XLR out to studio monitors (rig output and fx1 peq)

are you using this w/o the amp sim/ cabinet sim, just to get the sound of your marshall?

There's no best way, it all depends on your needs, your budget and your goal. I replied to you of the 4 scenarios I'm using depending of the situation. They all have their pros and cons.

Maybe if you give use a bit more detail about what you want to accomplish we can get better help you.
