Pro Tools 10 Recorded Tracks disappear when recording is stopped
Hi there, I'm Cybear and I'm new here!
I'm using Pro Tools 10.3.10 and my problem is: Recorded Tracks vanish/disappear as soon as I stop the recording. Meaning I can see the progress of the recording (guitar e.g.) but when i hit space or the stop button, the region just deletes itself and doesn't appear in the clips either. However it IS showing up in the audio files folder which leaves me pretty confused . Side Info: The issue appears permanently, it doesn't matter how long the audio file is, if it's a new session or a template, or which Interface I use (I have a Focusrite Scarlett and a Behringer UMC202 which i bought only to test this issue). I've been using Pro Tools 10 for years now, but the problem appeared rather recently. I switched to windows 10 in roughly the same time period, maybe that's the cause. I have the hope it's just one tiny checkmark that causes the recordings to disappear. Thanks in advance for your help. Re: Pro Tools 10 Recorded Tracks disappear when recording is stopped
Thank you for the reply but unfortunately after installing a seemingly compatible version of Pro Tools (12.5.2) the error still occurs. The windows 10 compatibility doesn't seem to be the problem here.

Re: Pro Tools 10 Recorded Tracks disappear when recording is stopped
Thank you for the answers. The Solution seemed to be dead simple. My antivirus software was causing the Issue somehow. When deactivated, PT seems to record correctly. (For now at least). Thanks again.
