Default Extra midi notes problem

Hi, I'm running pro tools 9 on mac with a firepro2626 interface. My yamaha p105 keyboard is hooked up to one of the available USB ports on my mac. Its going pretty well but every now and then I get random midi notes that I either didn't play or they're sustained way longer than I played them. It's disruptive to the recording process. I don't think it's the sustain pedal. Any advice? Thanks.

Matt

Could be many things. Get the free snoize MIDI monitor utility and it should show you exactly what your controller is sending.
