1 input to 2 channels
I would like to assign the same input to 2 faders one on the first layer and one on the third layer for convienince of access. Is this a good practice or are there problems I don't know about. The details are: I would like to access audience mics on either layer with out having to switch layers.
Thanks for any help. |

Re: 1 input to 2 channels
You can banksafe the Channel. Or make a userlayout.

Re: 1 input to 2 channels
Which console are you on? If it's a SC48 you can assign them to the flex channel. But no there shouldn't be any problems assigning it to 2 channels

Re: 1 input to 2 channels
A bank safe-d channel is probably your best bet there,
In options, interaction set your safe switch mode to bank safe for input channels. Get them in the right spot, hit safe, Enjoy. If you want to get a bit fancy you can also add an F key to disable and enable bank safe! Go to the events tab, Create a new event, Add trigger: F key of your choice Add action: disable bank safe, set it to toggle mode, and latch the command |
