On the profile, it would be great to split the banks at the master section from layer control.

Please consider this in your wish lists.

In the options section, have a checkbox that says "17-24 split layering" or similar.

When the box is checked, the bank buttons control the layers on 1-16. If you press and hold the USER key, the bank buttons will control ONLY the 17-24 faders. If you just press the USER key, it would light the LED to indicate the current layer status of 17-24.

You could also include a press and hold ALT key function, this would force ALL BANKS to go to the selected layer.
