Default How Do You REMOVE a Key Switch in Structure LE?

When I load certain 3rd party patches into Structure LE, a Key Switch occupies a note on the keyboard that I need for a sample. Is there a way to move, reassign, or remove the assigned Key Switch and replace it with the note sample that the Key Switch is occupying? Right now when I attempt to remove the Key Switch the entire keyboard sample set is also removed.

What I've done for a work-around is create a blank patch and assign a separate part for each key from the sample set in the browser and then save the patch - but this is very time consuming and seems impractical.

If anyone can spare maybe a hint to get me started in the right direction that would be great.

Thanks for any help.

Hey Reesho thanks for reminding me of the work around lol - glad I posted this question even though it's been years now with no response from anyone, as frustrating and stupid as this little issue is! BTW the Structure LE guide does not address this but only describes how to delete a key switch ASSIGNMENT - not a key switch itself. arrrggghhh

Geez, just googled this same question and came across this thread. I thought, Hey this guy's got the same question as me. Then I realized it's my post from years ago and still with no answer! It would be sad if it wasn't so funny.
