Default What about Core Audio?

So many people have asked for this to be fixed and still not with 12.5.1 on Mac OS X El Capitan. Will Avid ever fix this?!

If what those who have access to Sierra are reporting is true about the graphics issues being better than Yosemite and El Capitan then perhaps the Core Audio driver issue is also on Apple and not Avid. Allegedly the graphic thing is affecting other DAWs than Pro Tools in Yosemite and El Capitan.

Nah ..., it is 100% AVIDS fault ..., and I think it was around December 2015 AVID actually did make a PROMISE to have this fixed with the 'next' update.

Since that promise was made.., 2 major updates have passed us by without a fix

.........., C'mon AVID , DO what you say you are going to DO !

No it's not AVID's fault for the core audio driver breaking. Apple did lots of stuff that caused issues for lots of developers.

BUT, it is most definitely ridiculous that they haven't fixed/updated it yet and it's up to them to fix it, not Apple. Things change & software companies need to stay on top of these issues that arise.

At the Moment ? ..., it has been 2 years for the rest of us that have been effected

Oscar, Last news from Avid was in December 2015 .., when AVID made a promise to have it fixed within the next update

Yet every other piece of audio hardware we have here works perfectly fine with everything... only our HDX/HDIO units are not.

How is that not AVID's fault?
