Shortcut keys on macbook pro

Hello,

I used to have a mac Pro and new a lot of short cuts for Pro Tools. But those short cuts don't seem to all work on the macBook Pro.

Can anyone help with that?

For example the short cut to display the memory location and markers window.

A lot of PT shortcuts use the Numpad... (ie the markers window on the the num pad Enter) depending on what year of Macbook pro you have you may not have any numpad keys. The newer Macbook pros with the black keyboard got rid of the Fn Numpad. There is a 3rd party app that restores them, but its kinda useless as the keys aren't labeled. You can also get a seperate usb numpad peripheral for pretty cheap.

Hi, can you expand on what settings you used in Karabiner? Do you map the main keys to the numbed keys, or vice versa? ...and how?

I selected the "Change key" tab on top, then "Change Num Key (1...0)" which enables me to hit Fn and Cmd plus 5, giving me markers visible, for example instead of the cntrl and 5 I use on with my Win 7 mach, which has a keypad.
