PT 7 Freezes at "setting up periferials"C8HELPdigi

I was up and running great, now all of a sudden, PT 7 starts up great, and the last item with start up is "setting up periferials", and PT just gets the spinning ball and PT 7 Freezes.

Wa Sup ???

I performed ALL troubleshooting,procedures, and re-installed C8 firmware, and PT 7, and it starts great the 1st time, and the 2nd it freezes ????

G5 dual 2.7---2500mb ram---2 sata---Command 8 has worked flawlessly, until now...

HELP digi ???

OK...I spelled "peripherals" wrong when I went to the DUC search, and did not get any info ( duh )

When I noticed this, and put the correct spelling in, I got a thread from 12/05 saying that IF we change the setup/hardware/internal clock to S/Pdif-Optical, that this Issue on start up Will occur, and that we have to remember to set the clock back to Internal, and PT will start right up no problems.

I will just have to use this work around until DIGI corrects this ( highly un-likely )

PT Rules our DAW experience, and is #1 in the industry, and always will be for Audio, and I am greatful to be able to conquer PT 7.
