Default Splitting a long track up

I record long spoken messages (about 45 minutes) and need to find a way to simply split up the recording into multiple CD tracks...I'm thinking every 5 minutes or so to enable listeners to skip to approximately where they want to go, or left off listening last. I'm thinking this might be a function of the burning software itself and not Pro Tools, but thought I'd check. I use Toast Titanium to burn the CD's, but it doesn't have a function like this. Help!

Rick

Just split the regions into 5 minute segments in PTLE, import to toast, and ditch the 2 secound gap in toast. This should work for you..

Thanks for the tip! Know of anyway to make this a quick (or automatic) process? The thought of manually going through a 45 minute speech and inserting a region every 5 minutes makes me want to go crazy! Thanks again!

rick, you should get something like cd architect for doing this.
I do simular work sometimes, and its easy just to edit the take, consolidate it to a single file in pro tools, then import it into cd arch, split it into 5mins, put the track markers in and burn. easy.
hope this helps
