Default PT10 Saffire 56 and Rosetta 800

I had used my Rosetta 800 with PT 10 and my 003 for years
Now I have the Saffire 56 and the setup windows are different because you have to use the Focusrite mix Control at the same time.

Anybody using this setup

The Focusrite manual does not show that setup

Thanks

You only have to setup the mix control once. After that you can forget about it.
I've got the same setup at home, and it works very well.

Thanks
When I used the 003 with the Rosetta 800 I only used the 8 adat channels

Can I use the 8 adat channels from the 800 and the analogue from the LS56 at the same time

Thanks

Still don't quite get, what you're trying to achieve, but I'm on two beers, so it might be me.

If you're on OSX you could create an aggregate device consisting of the Rosetta and the LS56, or else you feed the LS56 with the 8 Rosetta ADATs via Lightpipe.

You can use the Rosetta via Adat exactly the same way with the 56 as on the 003.

003 setup

sample rate 44.1

wc I/O sync (all lights should be off)

lock wide/narrow light both on

source to digital outs, set to analog

output res 24 bit

source to analog out, set to adat

Light pipe (optical) out from 003 to rosetta in. word clock off the rosetta.

choose adat in optical format window, clock source, set to optical

I mirrored rhe setup for my LS56 but I don't see the above options in Hardware setup

Hi Bender,

This should be very easy to set up via Saffire MixControl and we would be glad to help you.

The options you are seeking for Sample Rate and Sync Source are in Saffire MixControl.

If you want to use the clock from the Rosetta you can set the Liquid Saffire to follow it using ADAT or Word Clock as you desire in the Sync Source box in Saffire Mix Control.

If you want to use the clock from the Liquid Saffire you would set it to Internal and select ADAT or Word Clock on the Rosetta.

If you would like assistance setting up your system please dont hesitate to contact our Technical Support directly and we would be glad to help you:
