Well, Tom your prediction was spot on! We have past the 1Yr mark and are moving towards the 2Yr mark. I'm beginning to think he hasn't been working on it at all. He first started talking about FGX 2.0 somewhere in 2014 if I'm remembering correctly and then ported version 1 to AAX somewhere in 2015 to try and redeem himself a little. He makes good plugins but I must admit this has really turn me away from buying anymore of his plugins especially now that there are a lot of other great plugin companies out there. Most of his plugins are redundant to what I already have anyway and many of the other companies are actually better IMHO.

I still have my hopes up for FGX2 .., to be delivered soon , as he predicted this summer he planned to have it released (ie ; in 2016 US summer)

.., and also because he has been 'on a roll' lately with his delivery of the monster, and vbc mono over these past two weeks

Actually he has made several hints to its release coming soon for over a year now. I think he has officially changed the definition of the word soon in the plugin market. Eventually he will get the release date right, that's if and when he ever releases it! LOL!

Yeah that's the problem! To make something new and exceptional that will corner the market you have to get it out before someone else comes up with something better, otherwise your just chasing your tail and playing catch-up.

I can't argue with you there

.., except his last word (and the difference) is he actually dropped his usual word 'coming soon' - and replaced it with .., 'this summer' ..,

So I guess (again) we will just have to wait (with fingers crossed) and see .

This is odd behavior for a plugin manufacturer to announce in 2014 that there releasing a new updated plugin soon and almost two years from that annoucement it's still coming this summer. Very odd! Who else does that! I guess we'll see if he makes it before summer is over. It would have been better for him to say nothing at all. This all started because he took so long to make version one VST 64-bit and then even longer to make the AAX version. He said version 2.0 was going to be the AAX version and then he side tracked back to version one. So here we are much much much later.
