problems with importing
I imported a bunch of .wav tracks into a PT session today and it sounded HORRIBLE, it was all distorted. The tracks were already recorded and mixed, i wanted to add some effects to them with protools. each track by its self sounds fine, but when its all played together its just mush. can anyone help me with this?

Re: problems with importing
sound slke you're overloading the mix buss. Lower the track faders to -10dbfs and try again.

Re: problems with importing
Create a mono audio track or aux input. Create a group that includes ll your tracks and the newley created track/aux input. from the edit window, view the new track/input volume. lower it by 10db, and turn the automation for that track/input to read. This will effectively lower ALL your inputs, but will retain their individual volume automations respectively, just 10db down.
