Pro Tools 8 LE Transport Controls

Hi guys,

I finally gave up my Cubase SX and upgraded to Pro Tools 8 LE, however I'm having problems working as fast as I used to in SX, I do not know how to mirror the transport controls (in SX ) in Pro Tools, i.e. looping over a specified region, I have tried Loop playback with 'destructive record' turned off, but if I click anywhere outside the loop region the playhead moves away from the initial loop region that I set.

If you guys have used SX you'll know what I'm talking about, please bear with me as I am undoubtdely a novice, I will however appreciate any help given.

Make sure "Link Timeline and Edit Selection" is disabled.

There is a button for it underneath the selector tools, or it can be found in the 'options' menu.
