Latency Issues
I have a mac g5, dual 1.8. 2 gigs of RAM. I am using PT 7.4. I have my mackie going into my Digi 002. I have never had Latency issues before. But in the last 2 weeks, it just started. I have never had Latency issues with PT 7.4. Only in the last 2 weeks. Its like a split second, its a pain in the ass if you want to make perfect loops in grid mode. If I make a midi track and use my proteus, and then make an audio track ( going through the mackie and into the 002), its like a split second behind. Very annoying. But here is the kicker, if I make a midi track and use Smple Tank, and bounce to disk, SAME thing, Latency. I dont understand. Why never happend before and now it is. I checked MIDI realtime properties. No delays, no nothing. Everything seems to be fine, but I just cant figure out why this was not the case a few weeks ago, and now its happening. Has this ever happend to anyone? appreciate any advice.
