Default Sends Expanded View

Sorry, this is basic and in the Ref Guide, but I can't find it: I have unintentionally expanded the Sends view, so that the entire a-f column is taken up by Send a, with Send a now showing and expanded view with fader, pan, mute, FMP, and such. How was that view created, and how is it undone?

Many thanks,

John Caldwell

View>Sends A-E>Assignments will switch it back. I'll guess you can figure out from there what the rest of the View>Sends will do...

Note sure what you mean on this. Apple clicking on the send's letter or background doesn't toggle the view, so I must be clicking in the wrong area. Thanks to you both.

Thanks for this erudition, John. Any ideas on what part of the send to click (or Apple-click) to toggle the expended send view?

Thank you,

John-

Like BScout said:

In your pull down menu bar: View > Scroll to Send A-E > Click on Assignments.

Not quite sure on that-I encountered it once myself but haven't been able to repeat it. There is no keyboard short-cut for it (that I've found).

You can click the letter next to the send name while holding the command key and then select assignments or another send to view expanded.

Yes, jdblu, that's it! Apple click the send letter when in non-expended view, and Apple click the send's upper left "letter corner" when in expanded view. The latter opens a menu permitting expanded view of an alternate send channel, or restoration of the default non-expanded view. My problem arose from the fact that, on my system anyway, the spot you click needs to be pretty precise.

Thanks everyone.

BTW option/command click opens/collapses views on all sends at once. Been years since the last post but I just discovered that. :)
