unable to connect to mbox 2

Hi there, i need help, i have a mbox 2 and protools 8 and 10 in two computers one is a PowerBook i7 with mountain Lion 10.8.3 wich connect the mbox 2 perfect without problems, but when i try to use it with my iMac intel core duo same system OSX 10.8.3 it say unable to connect to mbox 2, i all ready update the driver an then get starup security error mesage also with digidesign loader.
Just dont get, why works in one cpu same OS and dosent in the other?. please help!!!
