so many problems, so little time...
I want to know weather or not my sound card is the cause of my problems. It's a soundblaster live platinum 5.1. My computer is a Dell Optiplex Gx110 with a 933Mhz Pentium 3. My main cause of concern is that when I record an audio track and try to overdub onto the next track the previous recording always gets copied onto the overdub track. I was using the Cubasis VST software that came with the sound card and I had the exact same problem. Also I'm having "9093" errors pop up on me quite a bit. Please any help will be greatly rewarded (I can only pay with bacon in this country, sorry!) Please help me!!!

Re: so many problems, so little time...
Bring up your soundcard mixer and make sure that "what you hear" is not selected as your recording input, select "line-in". Also the errors you are getting are most likely caused by the SBLive card(not very friendly with PTF)

Re: so many problems, so little time...
Thank you very much! The record input was indeed on "what u hear". I know I said I would reward you, but I can't let you eat innocent little pig's bellys..
