"Segmentation fault" in thread "MainThread", at address 0x0

Been getting this error an awful lot lately. It's always followed by a PT quit and occasionally, a kernel panic soon after. Anybody know what could be causing it?

MacPro 3.0GHz 8-core Xeon

First thought would be an incompatible plugin

Do a search for that error and you'll find that it's been lurking around for a while now.
General consensus is that it's a memory related error.
Either a mishandling of RAM by software or a faulty RAM.

Well, DID track down an old plug-in in the plug-ins folder. Removed it yesterday and haven't had that crash error since. . . . fingers crossed.
