Default Midi filter and Motu Micro express!!!!

Hi there;
I've recently left my old Mac and move to a PIV 1,7 keeping the whole setup, and after solving lots of configuration problems I'm facing now what I expect to be the last one...The only way I can keep Pro-Tools working with my Micro-express parallel interface, is filtering all midi stuff, except notes. If I don't do this, on the smallest movement with the pitch bend or wheel it immediatly crashes and I must startup the computer (in the details box of the error message I can see that it has something to do with the Motu drivers MOTUMX.DRV...). I downloaded the lattest Motu drivers from the Net several times but...nothing. On the other hand, the same interface worked fine on the Mac platform...Does this have to be with the parallel port connection?...Can someone help me?...I love "wheeling"!

I had problems with a midiman Parallel device before....

The Parallel port on a pc can be setup a number of ways in the bios.. standard, bidirectional, enchanced etc... I'd say that it's not set properly and you'll need to try changing the way its set to each of the different options until it works...

Thanks for your advise, Sean...unfortunatly I forgot to mention that I've also tried to launched it on "Bi-directional" and after "EPP" mode, but the problem persisted!...

I am sorry I don't know what's causing your problem, but my parallel port Micor Express is working with my Athlon XP system with no problems. I have my printer port set to LPT.
