Default MOTU Micro Express question

Hello all,
Just recently got the micro express and i tried hooking it up today, however,it came without drivers. I run 001 on 9.2.2 G4 400mhz with a "gearport"/don't know if i should call it a hub/, until yesterday was routing a Midiman Midisport without a problem. I needed more ins and out.I went to the MOTU website and of course every related driver was for OS X. I saw a driver for a thing called "ClockWorks 1.07 Console Only"
the only thing supported by OS 9...would that do the trick or i need something completely different?

Hi thornlab,

I have the same setup as you, but with a "real" usb hub. My micro express works really great under os9 and osX.
For Os9, it came with a freemidi installer that you have to install to make your microexpress works under os9. Just check the Omscompatibility to "control" your freemidi setup under OMS. You should find that in the Motu website.
Clockworks also came with the microexpress and is some kind of remote wich let you map your midi ins and outs, put an offset if you use the MTC feature, etc..
You need both to make it works under Os9.
Hope this help.

Mk

I have had the Micro Express for 3 years, the drivers that came with it caused occasional "errors of type 2" with PT until a neighbour provided me with the driver I use now.
It might not be the most up to date but it works. I will email it to you.
