simultaneously recording with multiple interfaces
I was wondering if it is possible to record both the 003 Rack+ and the Mbox 2 at the same time. Considering how im using all the inputs on the rack for the drums, I wanted to use the Mbox for additional inputs for scratch guitar tracks, etc. I know you can't piggyback them like most firewire interfaces because the Mbox is USB.

Re: simultaneously recording with multiple interfaces
No, only one ProTools interface at a time....

Re: simultaneously recording with multiple interfaces
Unless you run them on separate desktops/laptops at the same time. You would sync with MMC/MTC and sample clock. While you can control both transports together, for some reason you can't drop them both into record unless you do if from their own controls. I've currently got a case open with Avid support about this issue.

Re: simultaneously recording with multiple interfaces
As per Shan, I thought there was still a technical hurdle that prevented one from doing exactly this. Is this no longer the case? If you've actually done it, please provide details.
