Default A Few Questions

I'm new to the whole recording thing and have been looking at some different recording devices and have a few questions.

For starters, I already have the Avid/Maudio Key Studio that comes with Pro Tools SE. I'm interested in getting the Avid Fast Track Solo to go along with it so I can record guitars and other instruments but that comes with Pro Tools Express. So my first question is, will the Keystudio and Fast Track Solo work together?/Are they compatible?

My next question is will either/both of those (the software and the Fast Track/Keystudio) work with Windows 8 or 8.1? I know they work with Windows 7 but haven't been able to find a lot of information about Windows 8 yet.
