Default AES/EBU DB-25 to DB-25 Cable

Hey All,

I am trying to build a cable that goes from the db-25 digital in/out of one hd192 to the db25 digital in/out of another in order to bounce down tracks in a 192khz sample rate. Does anyone have any experience? I did the pins to the specs of the 192 manual, but do I need to reverse them on the other end or do the digital in/outs move data in both directions?

Thanks in advance,

Pete

A straight through cable will not work. That would simply patch your digital outputs on one end to the digital outputs on the other. It would be an extension cable with the wrong gender on one end.
