Default Oo3 compatible interface

Hi everyone;

A buddy of mines has one of the original FIREPOD 24/96k, about 5 years old, will this still work on my digi 003 console?, provided I only have 2 firewire inputs on my Imac 1.83 duo core.

LE works only with Digidesign gear, as always.

They were probably using a Presonus DigiMax or some 8 channel micpre-A/D converter device connected to their Digidesign interface via ADAT to get 8 more inputs.

The old firepod might have spdif, which would allow you to add 2 more inputs using it. Better than nothing.
