Sending TimeCode From The Mbox
Does anyone know if I can send timecode from the Mbox to a DV deck?
I'm looking to play back two video streams from one protools session; one to be veiwed on screen and a seperate video feed to a projector. I'm hoping I can load the local video into the protool session, play this on the laptop screen, and then send time code to a DV deck and send the DV video to the projector. Anyone have any ideas? Currently working with an Mbox, LE 6.9.2 and a Powerbook G4. |

Re: Sending TimeCode From The Mbox
you going the wrong way round
stripe LTC onto the audio channel of your DV cam- be best if you can do this digitally- if there is automated gain on the cam u may have probs... feed the DV audio output into the sync input of something tike a MOTU express SMPTE in protools can chase the SMTE Not sure if it will output video tho at the same time.... it should work tho.... good luck mart |
