Default NI Kontakt 6 - how many cores?

Kontakt 6 lets you allocate the number of cores available in Native AAX, up to 16.

My MacPro shows 24 cores available in the CPU allocation display.

What setting would be best for Kontakt?

Right now I am experimenting with 15 cores, but the usage display only indicates 3 are being used. With the 16 cores setting usage seems more evenly spread out.

Anyone ever use the "none" allocation?

Any information on optimal settings utilizing 64GB of RAM would be much appreciated.

I think this preference has been available for some time in Kontakt. In my experience it doesn’t make ANY difference because Pro Tools can’t effectively spread the load of one instance of a plug-in across multiple cores.

This is like a number of preferences in Kontakt - they only work in standalone mode. But NI won't always say that.
