Default Why no A-B or undo in Avid plugs?

I would like to use Avid EQ III or the Channel Strip more than I do... there is no A-B comparison or Undo function for Avid plugs... what's the story with that?

Presets, compare button, revert to defaults, ...

And all well documented in the Pro Tools Reference Guide.

That and the +/- for scrolling thru presets(or a selected range of them). I'm a bit old school and twist till I like it(and maybe bypass to check). Another option: insert the same plugin twice, set each to your A&B settings and Ctrl-click(to bypass) or have both open on the screen together

Yes, but a real undo (using arrows) function and direct A/B comparison (using the GUI) would update these plugs to better efficiency... and ease of use.

I can't believe that would ever happen give all you can do already. Adding that would make a mess of the UI.
