I'm an absolute novice with video and am trying to import from a Sony digital camera.. I receive the same error message as montreal, but, being thick as I am, where do I go to look for the problems you mentioned CraigF? I'm at work right now, obviously workin' really hard!!, and can't remember but I think the files I downloaded off the camera to my desktop are mpegs? Does that make sense? Thanks for any help..
