Re: PT10 & PT First co-install
The challenge there will be the lack of common OS - Pro Tools 10 was only qualified up through Mountain Lion, but Pro Tools First requires Mavericks (or Yosemite).
If your MacBook supports it, you could set up a dual boot to have the supported operating systems for each.
