Re: Application Manager 2.5.1.115 crashing on boot
hmmm, I'm still in trouble with the last version.
The loading Prozess is ok, but when I start my mac, it takes longer to get wifi connection. Has this something to do with the Application Manager … ? - it seems so ! And, when I try to quit the Application Manager, … it is NOT possible ! It is away from the mac menu, but the Application Manager is still open in a way, it is still visible in the dock and when I switch programs with cmd+tab. And, I can not force quit and the Application Manager blocks the shut down of the mac ! - I have to hold the power button to turn the mac off ! This version is not even better, as the one before ! |

Re: Application Manager 2.5.1.115 crashing on boot
Thanks for the reply. I have no problem force quitting it the issue is it crashing "unexpectedly quitting" every time I boot up my Mac. I uninstalled it and downloaded from the link in another post on this thread. After re-installing it seems to be ok now. BUT, it takes forever to sync up and now in this new version it adds an app manager icon to my dock. It never used to it would just have the little symbol in my menu bar.
Could be me but the whole app manager thing seems a waste of CPU resources when a program like Pro Tools needs all the resources it can get. Like others, I wish there was a preference where one could just stop it from loading at start up. Also, seems like every time I upgrade the app manager app there is only a 50/50 chance it will work. 50% yeah it works - 50% boo it crashes or hangs.

Re: Application Manager 2.5.1.115 crashing on boot
I guess I was overly optimistic in my last post thinking the re-install fixed it for me. App manager still crashing on start up. Hopefully there will be a fix/update to it soon.
