Default Pro Tools 11 no finding my 3rd party plugins?

Hi

I'm running Windows 7 64 bit on an Alienware 2.4 GHZ I7 with 12 GIG RAM, 1.2 TB raid 0 drive. I uninstalled Pro Tools 10.x and installed Pro Tools 11. I opened an existing project and got the message that all the 3rd party plugins were no longer available. I confirmed that my plugins were still in the plugins directory at
C:\Program Files(x86)\Common Files\Digidesign\DAE. I've searched around but can't seem to find an answer to this issue. Any ideas would be most welcome!

Any plugins that are not AAX 64 bit will not show up.

None of my MCDsp plug-ins are showing up. I assumed they were AAX (64bit) ready.

Ugh, that appears to be it. In particular Addictive Drums and Amplitube are not yet ported so there's no use working with it now (I can use live amps but drums are a deal breaker). All dressed up and no place to go then... As I upgraded from 10.3.5 I assume that I should be able to install 10.3.6 and get back to work?

Perfect - thanks.

I should have read deeper before upgrading. I see that Addictive Drums will be ported but there's no ETA. They've also announced that there will be no cost. IK Multimedia don't seem to have announced anything for Amplitube though. I now have to go make a list of all my 3rd party plugins and decide what I absolutely can't live without and see if they are porting and what the cost might be. I guess we can't have an improved audio engine without loosing most of our plugins. Rather large price to pay!

Mcdsp is AAX, but 32 bit for now.

IIRC the next version of Amplitube, 3.11, will support PT11. Like pretty much everyone else they don't have any kind of ETA, but it's coming.

IK has been clear about this for weeks - they have announced over in their forum section (quite testily, I might add) that "they're working on it" as well as SampleTank 3, which will read libraries from Sonic Synth, etc. In the meantime, Eleven and Sansamp work great in 11, or Amplitube and ST2 work fine in 10.3.6
