dcommand focus
Just got a dcommand and have a question...
How do I make my focus channel switch to whatever track I am currently selecting? I want to be able to highlight (with the mouse) some regions and for that track to come up in the focussed channel? At the moment a channel only becomes selected/focussed if I click on one of its inserts??? Not regions within that track Also how do I make the dcommand switch banks automatically to a selected track |

Re: dcommand focus
AFAIK it won't do either. We've been asking for a combo Sel/Focus mode for years.
Workaround: To get the desk to scroll, right-click on the track and choose Scroll Into View. I think in their zeal to get everyone to not use the mouse, they forgot that the app should "talkback" to the control surface as well IMO. |

Re: dcommand focus
wow. thanks. I can't believe how many straight forward, practical things I am finding that it can't do!

Quote:
It would increase my workflow drastically, if at least the track I'm selecting within PT-SW would always show up in the FocusChannelStrip (if enabled).
