Default Record Native Instruments w/ Direct Connect and MIDI

How To

1. Open Instrument, set Audio to Direct Connect and MIDI to IAC Input and IAC Ouput.

2. Open Pro Tools and create Aux Track Mono or Stereo and MIDI Track.

3. Set Aux Plug-in Input to Instrument and select Channel from < no link selected > list.

4. Set MIDI Track I/O to Instrument.

5. Set MIDI Input Devices, Beat Clock and Click

If you want to record to an Audio Track

1. Create Aux and Audio Tracks

2. Set Aux Output to Bus x and Audio Input to Bus x.

I have not been able to get MIDI to record from Battery but these seem to work for the rest.

Jeff
