Default Direct Connect from Native Instruments (Finally..)

Hi everyone,

I posted this in the other thread but people seem to think that it's still email post.

Anyways. NI Rep. responded and they will port their products to DC in a few months. Here is his post...

"Dear users,
the decision to implement DirectConnect support for PC in our applications has already been made!

We plan to start developing for DirectConnect/PC in spring 2002. So the first updates including DirectConnect support should be available in May/June 2002.

Please understand that it is too early at the moment to announce a more exact point of time for the releases.

Best regards

Stephan Sippel"

Isn't this great??We finally got it.

Thanks to all of you guys who posted here. This was our second attack. The first one also generated about 30 emails. I knew we would finally get their attention.

Also thank David Summick for the tip.

This goes for all of us.

If you think about it we are almost there.

We already have the Movie Support coming. DC is finished. XP Support is on its way. David is right. The tide is turning. With the new Native Instrument Sampler Kontakt's ability to time-stretch loops in real time, I will not even have to use ACID any more.

Check here..;

It's getting exciting. Now i can make use of my Athlon's real power with Reaktor and Kontakt.

I think I am eternally cursed with the most complicated 6 letter last name in history!

All kidding aside, this is great news, and is just one more great thing in store for PC users in 2002.
