Default DUY Valve substitute?

I demo'ed the DUY Everpack RTAS bundle and really like "Valve", but I don't really need the rest that come in the $400 bundle. I also tries Antares Tube and PSP Mixsaturate but didn't like them as much. Any know of any others I could try that may be closer to the DUY plug?

You could try PSP Vintage Warmer. Very nice and $150 when i bought it. Not the same as the DUY Valve, which I use too. The DUY package comes with Wide, which I use a lot too, but those are the only ones I use from the suite.

Thanks Kirby,
I'll check out Vintage Warmer. I'm looking for settings that will sound like the "snare" preset in DUY Valve. Do you have a particular setting in Vintage Warmer that sounds like that?

The Vintage Warmer has a "Snare" setting, or maybe two - I'm not infront of PT now. I would also try the new free "tapehead" plugin that folks are talking about now on the DUC. http://www.smassey.com/plugins.html

That tapehead plugin is great, although I am not sure if it does the same thing as Valve. You should check it out anyway. It makes for a killer organ fuzz if you crank it up!
