anyone having problems pressing space bar?

hey there.. i know this has been covered here before but i just cant find it...

im running a 002R, Protools 6.4 with a XP2800 512 ram XP pro...(protools 5.9 didnt want to work for me! grrr)
with various pluggins ... waves 5,nomad free, blue tubes, bomb factory free, sony oxford inflator, and a a few VST wrapped plugs... ect..

do any of you know why somtimes i have to hit the space bar 3 or 4 times before it starts??? and even then somtimes it starts from the begining!! which i dont want it too!!

This will happen if ive got 1 track up and 1 plug in...
or with 20 tracks up and 20 pluggins!!!

i feal this is quite a newbie question and feal quite embarised to ask!!!

Yes, this often happens with Waves plugins on the screen.
It seems to be a bug in Waves' overlay (WaveShell).
I faintly recall reading about this in Waves' Support FAQ's.
