Default Re: Can't reinstall PRO TOOLS LE8 with new macOS Sierra 10.12 [solved]

Jack, I'm still trying to get my Pro Tools 8 back. I have unfinished compositions that I'd like to finish in Pro Tools 8. I appreciate your ideas and suggestions and will consider acting on them if I flame out with the Pro Tools 8.

It's been another day of vain attempts to get my PT 8 back. Here's the result: My Snow Leopard iMac has lost it's Dock and after trying multiple ways, it has not returned. The computer seems to be slowing. I've removed various plug-in's relating to PT 8 because I think they were part of the problem. Like Torq. I've emptied trash and rebooted. I've repaired disk permissions and verified disk. These things multiple times. Now, the latest blow is that my PT 8 disk comes up "installer quit unexpectedly". Game Over.
Thanks to all who tried to assist. Now I will grieve, then figure out what I will purchase to start again.
