Default Installing Pro Tools Ten

On a 10.12.2 (16C68) Mac OS Sierra, 2.7 GHz Intel Core i5 I am trying to download and install Pro Tools 10, but I got this message after starting the installation: Installation Errors: Pro Tools cannot be installed because the following errors were installed on your system: - An incompatible version of the OS was found. Pro Tools 10.3.10 requires Mac OS X version 10.7 or higher.

What version of Pro Tools 10 would be compatible with Sierra? Is there a way to upgrade to something for free if I need to upgrade to another Pro Tools to make it compatible with Pro Tools?

Thanks everyone!

Welcome to the community.

PT10 was released a few versions prior to OS X 10.10 and had a minimum OS version check which incorrectly sees 10.10/later as 10.1. Note that PT10 was only qualified up through OS X 10.8.5.

Sierra support was added in PT 12.6 (more info), and an upgrade to the current version is available here.
