Default Reality sound editors.

OK, I'm tired of editing AND mixing.
So Im now looking for a freelance sound editor.

Duties will include:
Import AAF, and split out tracks.
Edit reality production dialog, and frankenbites.
Adjust video editors music edits, without disturbing the intent of the music prelay.

Must have substantial reality credits as dialog editor.
Due to the nature of some shows being competition, there will be no work at home, or your studio. No remote internet work.
Must be willing to work in the Hollywood area.
Do not think you can relocate for this, as this business is uncertain.

Please email a PDF of your resume. Credit list is not needed, link your IMDB page.
Subject of your email should say:
SOUND EDITOR (your name)

send to

audiopat AT yahoo DOT com

Additional information:

Turnaround times for a 45 minute reality show is 2.5 days plus .5 day produce viewing and notes.

That means the editor gets ONE day to edit dialog, and music.
I need an experienced reality dialog editor.
Don't offer to work from your home or studio.

Thank you!

Hey Patrick,

"Speaker stand guy" here

I wish I could "apply" but my availability to go to that studio is stopping me. If you have any other gigs that would allow me to collaborate with you from my own studio, you can always reach out to me!

I'll keep my eyes and ears peeled for any other whippersnappers who I trust enough to send you way!
