Default Won't recognise 2nd Interface

Hi,
I've just recently started using pro tools, I usually use Logic Pro. But I'm having a problem with the hardware setup. I have 2 lynx auroras, a 16 channel and an 8 channel, set up as an aggregate device. 16 being 1-16 and the 8 being 17-24.
Pro tools is recognising the aggregate device but when choosing inputs and outputs on the channel strip it is only giving me the first 16 channels to choose from.
Anyone have any idea about this?
Thanks, Damian
